It used to be that CO2 lasers were the frontrunner when it came to skin resurfacing, but they were also painful, and the downtime could be several weeks, if not longer (since they essentially removed the top layer of your skin). On the other hand, Venus VivaTM skin resurfacing treatments offer the same results but with a lot less discomfort and downtime. Unlike lasers, which are only effective on fair complexions, Venus VivaTM treatments are safe for all skin tones. You will also see better results than superficial treatments like chemical peels and microdermabrasion.

The Venus Viva™ uses skin resurfacing technology to reduce skin damage signs by targeting a wide range of skin concerns such as uneven tone or texture, wrinkles, acne scars, enlarged pores, discoloration, and stretch marks. Venus Viva™ will improve your overall skin texture safely and effectively, no matter how fair or dark your skin tone.
Using NanoFractional Radio Frequency (RF) and SmartScan technology, energy is safely delivered through the skin’s surface to stimulate fibroblasts, elastin, and collagen production. This results in reduced skin damage and improved skin texture with minimal downtime.
Your treatment will be customized to your needs, but typically a series of 3-4 treatments every 4-6 weeks is recommended to achieve optimal results.
Your skin may look red (similar to a sunburn) for 24 hours after your treatments. After 24 hours, you may resume wearing sun protection and makeup.
